There’s a lot of hype and excitement around the start of the football season. Fans are making predictions about how their team will do, and what they hope to achieve. However, often times these expectations don’t match up with reality. Here are some tips for setting realistic expectations for your favourite team this season:
1) Don’t expect them to win every game – no team is perfect! Even the best teams will lose some games during the season.
2) Look at their past performance – have they been doing well in recent years? Or have they been struggling? This can give you an idea of how they might do this year.
3) Check out their opponents – who are they playing against and how strong are those teams? Be realistic about whether your team can beat them or not.
4) Keep in mind that it takes time for new players to gel together and form a good team chemistry – so don’t expect them to be amazing right from the start. Give it a few weeks or months before making any final judgements on how well they’re doing.
